Abstract

The objective of this article is to review the concept of Entrepreneurship according to some renowned authors of the Austrian School of Economics, such as Mises, Hayek, Kirzner and others, seeking to arrive at common and globalizing ideas. The method to be followed will be the bibliographic review, which addresses issues such as Business Function and The Business Alert Attitude. The basic results of this analysis reveal a definite approach to the understanding of what it means to be an entrepreneur from the perspective of the Austrian writers, which has to do with a person willing to undertake a difficult adventure in order to achieve specific objectives in a context of freedom. It is concluded that this economic current is a valid way for a reasonable theoretical understanding of entrepreneurship, and that by accessing it, a person will be in a better position to take the risk of carrying out some kind of entrepreneurship.
