This article presents teachers of any levels two national documents related to management and risk reduction: the first legal document of the country is the National Policy of Management and Risk Reduction (PNGRR-2014) which delineates international commitments, objectives, guiding principles, cross-cutting axes, and the strategic guidelines. The second document is the National Education Plan for Management of Risk (PNEGER) the 1st and 2nd editions contains the legal framework, the guiding framework, the characteristics of education for risk management, the mission, the vision, the objectives, and the strategic axes of the plan. The 2nd edition is the Sendai Framework for Action for Disaster Risk Reduction (2015-2030) in which the United Nations (UN) presents the commitment of the member countries, the goals, and objectives to be achieved during 15 years. The two national networks, working on this issue for several years, and in which Universidad Columbia del Paraguay has demonstrated its leadership, are the National Network for Risk Management and Development, and the Network of Universities in Latin America and the Caribbean for Risk Reduction of Disasters - Paraguay Chapter (REDULAC / DRR), demonstrating that Risk Reduction of Disasters and Management (GRRD) are a serious commitment that teachers must assume with responsibility this topic deserves.
