Follow-up to graduates of the Architecture major degree at Universidad Columbia del Paraguay, Sede España in 2018

Abstract

This research seeks to obtain information about the graduates of the Architecture career of the Columbia University of Paraguay, Spain headquarters in 2018, in order to measure the potential of the professionals who graduate from the career, evaluate the curriculum of teaching and provide inputs for your update. The Columbia University of Paraguay was created in 1991. The Architecture course was incorporated into the headquarters in Spain, located in the city of Asunción in 2006. To date, it has 237 students enrolled in 5 courses that run in the afternoon and night, and has promoted 50 graduates since 2012. The study covers the analysis of the degree of satisfaction of the graduates in terms of the training received in the institution, the skills or abilities obtained during the course of the career, the influence that these they had to achieve their first job, as well as in their job performance, the time that they were required to achieve their first job, among others. In addition, know if the same to date work in activities related to the profession, if they do it on their own or in a dependent
condition, in public or private, what was the category reached in their jobs, type of employment contract (permanent or temporary), postgraduates made to date, etc. The main data collection tool for the investigation was a digital form processed online, which had a structured survey that measured quantitative and qualitative aspects of the responses of the graduates.
