Abstract

This article presents the results of an interdisciplinary research project carried out during the month of August 2018 for Universidad Columbia del Paraguay and Centro Educativo Los Laureles de Asunción, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture of the Government of Paraguay. It explains the main findings and results obtained through a series of interviews recorded in video that took place in various places in the south of the country with the aim of making visible
the main artisan crafts and giving voice to many women involved in them. Ultimately, this project is part of a broader study about Mujeres maestras y artesanas del Paraguay who puts the spotlight on women's work in the construction of Paraguayan national identity in the foreground.
