Abstract

The consequences and challenges of the new medical pension scheme are not only important due to the economic impact on the fiscal funds, but also due to the possible political consequences and social reactions of various sectors in the same case. In order to evaluate these consequences, it is necessary to know what are the characteristics of the new medical pension scheme recently approved by law, by analyzing strategic points such as: the general context of the
national pension framework, the different existing pension funds and their respective systems; also to know different opinions or opinions of the state and private instances on the matter, as well as the existence of previous investigations that speak on the subject. By reading, analyzing and interviewing, the consequences of the recently approved medical pension scheme were identified and by virtue of these, proposals for potential solutions were generated that
rethought them, proposing new and better alternatives to the case.
